In honor of Memorial Day, visit Morrison’s Heritage Museum, 200 E. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL, on Sunday, May 30, 2021. Enter from the back parking lot via a ramp. The hours are 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
On the main floor is a collection of mannequins dressed in military uniforms, each worn by a local member of the Armed Services. Numerous uniforms hang in a downstairs collection
Count small American flags and patriotic pinwheels dispersed throughout the museum.
Note, too, the Hilltop Lanes Bowling Alley exhibit.
