“The need is constant. The gratification is instant. Give blood.” This American Red Cross endorsement is familiar, because it is always the situation during the spring and summer months. As people become involved in outdoor activities, sports events, and vacations,precious blood donations drop. Unfortunately, the number of patients who need blood and blood products does not dimish with the seasons.
The American Red Cross will hold a community Blood Drive on Thursday, May 21, 2015, from noon to 6:00 p.m., at Morrison United Methodist Church, 200 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL. Bring your blood donor card, Driver’s License, or two forms of identification.
