The Early Years Academy is located at 508 French Creek Road, adjacent to Climco Coils in the Morrison Industrial Park, on south IL Route 78, Morrison, IL. This welcomed facility is a combination of efforts between Climco Coils and Morrison Area Development Corporation MADC.) MADC awarded a donation on Tuesday, September 29, 2020.
Details are being finalized, in anticipation of a late-year opening of the daycare center, for children six weeks-to-eight years old from the Morrison area.
This newly constructed facility features classrooms and nursery area capable of housing and educating 75 children. It could employ 15-20 full-time employees, during a two-shift per day schedule.
The Early Years Academy staff welcome interested and qualified employees to join the team. Application details are available on earlyyearsacademy.org.
The academy will be governed by State of Illinois regulated programs. To maximize efficiency of personnel and use of the facilities, The Early Years Academy will offer all learning at one cost and accept only full-time attendance. Registration fees include snacks and meals.

The current COVID-19 virus pandemic will slow the enrollment climb toward the advertised 75 children. Precautions are applied to all interactions with the staff, children, and guardians.
Current plans dictate individual contact for all drop-off and pick-up of children. Staff will receive, lead, and release each child. There will be no admittance of parent/guardian, until proper medical guidelines allow such contact.
Director Jennifer Magnafici eagerly anticipates the opening of The Early Years Academy. She is a 2001 graduate of Ashton High School and owns a degree in Early Childhood Education from Lewis University of Aurora, IL. She and Justin have four children: Sage, 15; Griffin, 12; Paisley, 10; Zachary, 3.
Her recent employment included a four-year stint as a Mail Carrier in Morrison, before accepting the role of Director of Bright Beginnings of Dixon, IL.
