The 2025-2026 school year will begin soon, and the Principal’s Office at Morrison High School will be filled with a new face. Dr. Dusti Markham will fill that office with many ideas and ambitions to support the students. She will enhance community interaction to build a strong and vibrant education system.
Dr. Markham graduated from Southern Illinois University with a degree in Education, and she owns a love of History. She most recently served as Principal in the Moline, IL, school system. She stated she is excited to rejoin a smaller community, because of the positive interaction that often accompanies a small school atmosphere.
Believing that “relationships are key,” she looks forward to becoming involved in the community. She has established a Meet & Greet for Monday, August 11, 2025, for anyone interested in meeting with her. This Principal is excited to meet local community leaders and to maximize the school-and-community relationship.
“The strength of a school depends on the strength of the community,” she believes. Involving the community will be a priority toward fostering that community connection.
Dr. Dusti Markham looks forward to getting out and about the community. She welcomes anyone to call 815-772-4071 to get on her calendar, meet her, and discuss their concerns or hopes, for a successful Morrison High School year.
