Vernon “Bud” Rosene, 78, died Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Highlight Healthcare of Morrison, Morrison, IL. He was born August 2, 1946, in Chicago, IL, the son of Vernon Charles and Elizabeth (Loeschen) Rosene. He married Joan Steger on June 25, 2003, in Wheaton, IL.
Vernon loved classic cars and car shows, fishing, and being on the river. He loved all his family.
Survivors include his son, Brian Rosene; grandson, Christopher Rosene of Golden Valley, AZ; stepdaughter, Dawn Klessman of Lockport, IL; stepsons, Roy (Cynthia) Dodge of Lisle, IL, and Rick (Sherrylee) Dodge of Celena, TX; several step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Vernon Rosene, Sr. and Elizabeth (Betty) Loeschen Rosene; wife, Joan; son, Sean Rosene; stepdaughter, Sharon Dodge; sister, Verne Ann Swintek.
There will be no services at this time.
Burial with his wife will be at a later date.
