The Whiteside Forum will not have a guest speaker, on Thursday, March 22, 2018. Instead, guests will watch an hour-long TED talk, featuring author and historian Yuval Noah Harari. After the viewing there will be about half an hour for discussion on his topic, “Nationalism vs. Globalism: the New Political Divide.”
As usual, the event will be at Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL, in the Program Room starting at 6:30 p.m.
“Please join us for the presentation and the question and answer period that follows,” stated Marc Adami. “All Whiteside Forum events are free and open to the public.”
