The American Red Cross Blood Drive is today, Thursday, September 11, 2025, from noon to 6:00 p.m., at St. Mary Catholic Church, 13320 Garden Plain Road, Morrison, IL. Wa-Tan-Ye service organization is sponsoring the canteen.
To celebrate 75 years of Peanuts comic strips, the ARC will be give Peanuts T-shirts to all donors that give blood that day! Put on your Snoopy shirt. Take your photo. Send it on Facebook to @RedCrossBlood.
In addition, during today’s blood drive, Kaywyn Beswick will give gift cards to those established donors, who bring in someone who has never donated. If the new donor gives a unit of blood and signs up for the November blood drive, the established donor will receive a gift card from me! If the NEW donors give blood at the Thursday, November 13 blood drive, and sign up for and donates at the January drive, they will receive a gift card. This is to incentivize donors to come in with new donors and get them established as regular donors.
