Robert “Bob” E. Foster, 88, of Fulton, IL, died Saturday, March 14, 2026, at La Bella of Morrison, Morrison, IL.

Bob was born May 7, 1937, in Morrison, to Fred and Henrietta (Strating) Foster. He was educated in the Fulton Grade Schools and attended Fulton High School. Bob later served in the United States Army. On August 30, 1963, he married Sandra K. Venema in Fulton, and together they shared many years of marriage and family life. Bob was employed at Fulton Corp, where he worked faithfully until his retirement in 1999. He was a longtime member of Trinity Reformed Church in Fulton. Bob and Sandy loved camping and were members of the Green Forest Camping Club. They also enjoyed traveling together, especially taking trips with Emmanuel Church. Bob was a devoted Fulton Steamer fan and was honored as a “Super Steamer Fan.” You could often find him in the stands proudly cheering on the players and supporting the team he loved.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Foster of Fulton; sons, Michael (Cristi) Foster of Naperville, IL, David Foster of Joliet, IL, Daniel (Becky) Foster of Fulton, and Matthew (Monica) Foster of North Potomac, MD; six grandchildren, Mitchell Foster, Megan Foster, Kyle Foster, Paige Foster, Sara Foster, and Ali Snellen; sister, Dorothy Hook of Fulton; brother, Richard Foster of Naperville, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, John Decker; brother, Donald F. Foster.
A Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.
His Funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m., at the funeral home with Ronald Koehn officiating.
Interment will be at Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, IL.
A memorial has been established to Beacon of Hope Hospice.
