Robert “Bob” Bierman, 87, of Morrison, IL, died Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Resthave Care & Rehabilitation in Morrison.
Robert was born May 30, 1933, in Sterling, IL, to Carl H. and Bessie M. (McKee) Bierman. He attended Lincoln grade schools of rural Whiteside County and Morrison High School. Bob served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He married Donna M. Landheer on November 18, 1956, in Our Savior Lutheran Church in Sterling. Bob was a farmer and also worked for the Whiteside County Highway Department for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Donna of Morrison; daughter, Barb (Mike) VanZuiden of Morrison; sons, Jeff Bierman of Morrison and Paul Bierman of Bryant, IA; two grandchildren, Travis (Veronica Spriggs) VanZuiden and Tyler (Tawny) VanZuiden; one great-grandchild, Lillian May VanZuiden.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth “”Corky” Bierman; sister, Minnie May Koett; niece, Cheryl Foskitt.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
There will be no Services, and the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is assisting the family.
A memorial to Resthave Care & Rehabilitation has been established.
