Resthave Care & Rehabilitation, 408 Maple Avenue, Morrison, IL, hosted their annual Family Fun Day on Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Over 600 people attended this entertaining, free event, on a gorgeous, sunny day that encouraged quality family time for all ages.
Some stations for families to participate in included a tattoo artist; magician; petting zoo; Touch-a-Truck; bounce house; balloon art; face painting; cookie walk; crafts; contests. A meal consisted of baked beans, pork chops or hotdog, and chips.
Tons of prizes were given away, including two bikes, donated by A+ Storage, and Disney on Ice tickets, donated by Adam Hanna of Feld Entertainment.
This event would not have happened if it weren’t for our 130-plus volunteers, who donated their precious time, and 60-plus generous sponsors.
