All members were present as the Morrison School Board convened on Monday, March 16, 2026.

Personnel changes within the District were noted and approved unanimously by a board vote.

  • Retirements:
    • Kim Hunter – Paraprofessional at Junior High

    • Andy Henson – MJHS coach
    • Kelly Hoppman – Nurse
    • Amy Ford – Southside Elementary School Counselor
    • Christine Houzenga – Junior High ELA Teacher
    • Laini Houzenga – High School Special Education Teacher
  • Volunteers:
    • Bronson Mintun – MHS Baseball Coach.

No public comments were offered regarding the intent of the Board of Education to sell fire prevention and safety bonds and sell $5,000,000 school fire prevention and safety bonds and $7,200,000 working cash fund bonds.

Northside Window Replacement Project:  Unanimous Board approval was recorded for a motion to approve the replacement window project at Northside Elementary, at the cost of $238,330.00 utilizing Health Life Safety Funds.

Superintendent DeBeane noted that the Morrison District Goals Development Plan is being constructed.  The final goals would be available for Board approval at the May board Meeting.
