Danielle Vance holds the position of Whiteside County Director for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Whiteside County.  The organization was honored with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony by Morrison Chamber of Commerce, on Thursday, March 16, 2017, at 9:00 a.m.  Although Vance’s office is located in Wallace School in Sterling, IL, the ribbon cutting took place at Northside Grade School, 520 N. Genesee Street, Morrison, IL.

Vance reported, “Big Brothers Big Sisters is a one-on-one mentoring program.  We have seven matches [child with an adult], so we are growing.  We have eight kids from Morrison ready to be matched.  Morrison Police Department, Illinois State Police, Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, and Rock Falls Police Department are on board.  We’re excited to be growing!”
