Mark your calendars for two significant events sponsored by Morrison Lions Club, in April 2026.
Morrison Lions Club members are taking orders for roses to be delivered on Good Friday, April 3. We cannot guarantee a certain color, but your request will be honored as closely as possible. Colors are vivid from reds, pinks, mauves, yellows, and pinks, as well as other combinations. The deadline for placing your order is Sunday, March 29.

The funds raised support two scholarships to Morrison High School graduates and reimbursement to CGH, for eyeglasses they supply to Morrison-area students and residents.
Mark your calendar for the area-wide Morrison Lions Recycle Day. The event will be held on Saturday, April 18, from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. It will again be at the Whiteside County Fairgrounds, 201 W. Winfield Street, Morrison. Flyers will be posted at local businesses, our Morrison Lions Foundation Facebook page, and the club’s website, showing a list of items that will be accepted. Earth Day is Wednesday, April 22. Help celebrate Earth Day by recycling at the area-wide recycle day event. This service project helps fulfill the Lions’ Motto of “WE SERVE.”
Club meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at noon at Happy Joe’s. Anyone interested in joining Lions is cordially invited to attend any meeting, to learn more about what Lions do to uphold our motto. It is noted that Lions is the “best kept secret around.”
