For 15 years, since 1987, Morrison, IL, individuals have gathered along Lincolnway in peaceful, pro-life demonstration. In the early afternoon of Sunday, October 6, 2024, they gathered at 100 W. Lincolnway, in front of the former Wells Fargo Bank. Many participants carried signs in silence.
“LIFE CHAIN is a peaceful, prayerful, public witness event of pro-life people standing in remembrance of at least 65 million lives lost to abortion. They were praying for our Nation; for people in crisis situations; for a permanent end to abortion.
“It is a visual statement of solidarity by the Christian community that abortion kills children; hurts women and men; that the Church supports the sanctity of human life, from the moment of conception to natural death.”
