  • Friday, September 11, at 1:00 p.m.  Nora Crawford with the Social Security Administration, Sterling, IL, discusses “Disability Benefits:  What We Need to Know,” as they pertain to cancer, including survivor benefits. A question and answer session will also be available.
  • Tuesday, September 15, at noon.  Lunch and Learn session:  Sue Hageman, KSB Cancer Resource Nurse, presents a program entitled “Bone Health in the Cancer Patient.” 
  • Wednesday, September 23, at 6 p.m.  Sarah Cebula, Licensed Social Worker with Hospice of the Rock River Valley, assists caregivers in exploring ways to re-energize oneself, teaching when to ask for help and where to turn. Her program is entitled “Balancing Self-Care in the Caregiver Role.”
