Harold Edward Buikema, 80, of Rock Falls, IL, died on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Rock River Hospice Home in Sterling, IL.
Harold was born April 2, 1945, in Morrison, IL, the son of Richard and Hattie (Byland) Buikema. He was previously employed with the City of Morrison.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Buikema; son, Edward Buikema; siblings, Frances Damhoff, of Morrison, Dick (Ruth) Buikema, of Eldridge, IA, Charlotte Houzenga, of Sterling, Ted (Hazel) Buikema, of Rock Falls, and Martha (Don) Smith, of Morrison; sister-in-law, Shirley Buikema.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Carolyn Buikema; brothers, Orville Buikema and Robert Buikema.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
Private family services will be held.
