HannahPannellThe Scholarship Committee of the Whiteside County Natural Area Guardians, a committee of the Soil and Water Conservation District, is pleased to announce that Hannah Pannell, daughter of Ed and Susan Pannell of Fulton, IL, is the recipient of a $500 scholarship for the 2018-2019 school year.

Hannah is a 2016 graduate of Fulton High School, and she is enrolled at the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point, pursuing a degree in Environmental Education.  She is involved with the Student Chapter Wildlife Society at U of W.  She has worked at the Fish Hatchery in Cordova, IL, through Southern Illinois University in her time off from her college studies.

The Natural Area Guardians has been granting scholarships to college students for 30 years.
