Genevieve F. Nedbal, 89, of Morrison, IL, died Monday, October 14, 2024, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL.

Genevieve was born December 5, 1934, in Chicago, IL, to George and Jennie (Wolf) Louda.  She was educated in the Chicago schools.  On May 26, 1956, she was united in marriage to Thomas F. Nedbal, Sr. at the Blessed Agnes Catholic Church in Chicago.  Genevieve worked in the office for La Grange Girl Scouts and was also a full-time, beloved wife and mother.  She was a member of Eastern Star and enjoyed taking ceramic classes.

Survivors include her husband, Tom, Sr. of Morrison; son, Tom Jr. (Tracy) of Bonita Springs, FL; sister, Rhonda Stickel of Lockport, IL; brother, George Louda of Bastrop, TX.

Genevieve was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Earl Stickel.

The Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 18, 2024, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, with a Visitation preceding the service, starting at 10:00 a.m.

Officiating the service will be Rev. Chuck Huckaby, Pastor of First Reformed Church in Fulton, IL.

Interment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison, IL.
