The Emmanuel Church of Morrison’s “Voices of Praise” cordially invites the area to celebrate with them, as they present EVOP’s 16th annual Christmas cantata. “The Miracle of Christmas!” which will be presented in three services:
Friday, December 15, 2023, at 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, December 16, at 3:00 p.m.
Sunday, December 17, at 7:00 p.m.

Voices of Praise is so excited to be singing with the strength of 84 voices. Emmanuel’s platform will be filled with singers who will energetically present Christmas music, from a huge variety of musical genres. The choir will present a new musical work that offers fresh arrangements of familiar carols, blended with Contemporary worship music. “The Miracle of Christmas” blends familiar carols, original songs, popular Christmas standards, and an amazing variety of musical styles. Full of passionate and worshipful music, this extraordinary collection provides all the meaningful and dynamic moments you will need, to create your Christmas celebration this year.

“Voices of Praise” hopes that its music will encourage us in our Christian walk and also push us to go out and spread the good news. As you listen, there will be times when some of you will want to clap your hands or tap your feet. Others of you will simply smile, and many, at some point will have tears in their eyes.

Soloists include Pam Muur, Lynelle Criss, and Ed Karvelius. A quartet of Jason McDearmon, Jeff McDearmon, Ed Pruis, and Rich Criss will be a part of the program.

No tickets are needed for this 60-minute concert, and a free-will offering will be received. All ages are welcome. The church is handicapped accessible. A fellowship hour will follow all performances.

A free shuttle bus will be provided for one hour prior to–and following–all three performances. The bus will pick up from Ebenezer Reformed Church’s parking lot (just two blocks south of Emmanuel’s campus), dropping you off at the curb in front of Emmanuel.
