On Saturday, November 1, 2025, Odell Public Library’s annual Book and Bake Sale will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be books of various genres–from mystery, romance, adventure, and non-fiction. If you have gently used books that would fit in these categories, please bring them to Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL, no later than Saturday, October 25. We welcome your treasures. However, we do not accept encyclopedias or moldy books.

The money from the Book and Bake Sale will go to providing outdoor seating.
To enhance the book selling, there will be a Bake Sale of all types of goodies. We ask you bakers to label your baked goods “with nuts” or “no nuts.” These beautiful baked goods should be brought to the Library at 8:30 a.m. on November 1.
The sale will be held in the Program Room of the Library. Bake Sale treats will be sold in the main room of the library. Friends of Odell Library will on hand to help with the baked goods and in the Program Room with the books. All books and baked goods are by donation only.
We Friends of the Odell are proud of our library and everything it offers to all ages. Thank you for bringing us your books and baked goods. Saturday, November 1, will be a great day with your help!
