One of Morrison Junior High Principal Darryl Hogue’s last duties was conducted on Thursday, May 29, 2014, as he presented promotional certificates to 73 eighth graders. As they move forward as Morrison High School students, their principal advances his educational career.
Hogue accepted a significant promotion of his own. On Monday, May 19, Hogue was approved as Superintendent of Schools of River Bend District #1 in Fulton, IL. Current Superintendent Dr. Chuck Holliday likewise “is moving on.”
Officially, Hogue’s tenure begins Tuesday, July 1. He stated, “I’m very excited about this opportunity to work with the Fulton staff and administration, parents and students, and community. The River Bend District will be a great place to work as a Superintendent.”
“I really like the opportunity to have an influence on the system as a whole. This is a good fit for myself and the District,” he concluded.
