The July session of the Morrison City Council featured recognition of the recent accomplishments of several athletes for Morrison High School.
Mayor Scott Vandermyde read the official Proclamation that named July 28, 2025, as “MHS Track Team Day” in recognition of the recent Illinois Class 1A State title earned by these athletes.
Mayor Vandermyde also recognized the Mustang Wrestlers that placed in the State Championship and declared July 28, 2025, as “MHS Wrestling Team Day.”
