Carolyn J. Icenogle, age 82, of Rock Falls, IL, died Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Homestead Assisted Living & Memory Care of Morrison, IL.
Carolyn was born February 24, 1943, in Sterling, IL, the daughter of Waldo and Letha (Urton) Jaques. She married Jack Icenogle on September 28, 1963, in New Bedford, IL. He preceded her in death on November 16, 2020. Carolyn was employed at Mr. Nifty Cleaners for several years. She was a great cook and homemaker, who loved her family and her kitty.
She is survived by her sons, Scott (Karen) Icenogle of Morrison and Brad Icenogle of Rock Falls; sister, Linda Thurm of Rock Falls; brothers, Jim Jaques of Rock Falls, Gene (Laurie) Jaques of Sterling, and Jack (Chris) Jaques of Tampico, IL; four grandchildren, Alyssa, Noah, Brinkley, and Emery.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, Lori Simpson.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling, IL, with Rev. Dr. Scott Porter of Abiding Word Church in Sterling officiating.
