John Booker, Democratic Candidate for Whiteside County Sheriff, has been endorsed by Rock Island County Sheriff Gerald Bustos, Carroll County Sheriff Jeff Doran, and Bureau County Sheriff James Reed.  The endorsements of the three Sheriffs are added to Booker’s earlier endorsements by current Whiteside County Sheriff, Republican Kelly Wilhelmi, and the former Whiteside County Sheriff, Republican Roger Schipper.

“John Booker is an outstanding Police Officer and a great person,” said Carroll County Sheriff Jeff Doran.  “He has my full support for Whiteside County Sheriff,” Doran added.

“Experience and integrity are some of the most important qualities for a successful Sheriff to possess,” said Rock Island County Sheriff Gerald Bustos.  “John Booker possesses these tremendous qualities, and he will serve the citizens of Whiteside County well as their next Sheriff,” Bustos added.

“John Booker has experience in every aspect of running a Sheriff’s office,” said Bureau County Sheriff James Reed.  “I endorse John Booker for Sheriff, because he is absolutely the best candidate for the job,” Reed added.

“I am honored to receive the endorsements of the Whiteside County Sheriff, former Whiteside County Sheriff, Rock Island County Sheriff, Carroll County Sheriff, and Bureau County Sheriff,” Booker said.

“There is no one better than an existing Sheriff to know what it takes to be a good Sheriff,” Booker said.  “Sheriffs from both parties, and from all around, have now endorsed me,” Booker said.  “I am flattered by their confidence in me, and I will work very hard to earn that confidence every single day,” Booker remarked.
