The Bi-County Bulldogs Basketball team will play their first game on Friday, March 7, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. at Shirk Center, Illinois Wesleyan University, Bloomington, IL.

This is the first year competing together for this team. In fact, most of our athletes have never competed in an organized sport prior to this season.
• If they win their first game, they play again on Saturday, March 8, at 10:15 a.m., at Shirk Center.
• If they lose their first game, they play their second game at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.

They include: Joey Bushman, Emily Hoffman, Austin Keifer, Kaleb Lewis, Jonathan Miller-Berogan, Nathaniel Portner, Samantha Schafer, Daniel Seilhymer, Iligah Williams, Jeremiah Yarbrough, Samantha Zimmermann.
Coaches are Bi-County Employees: Kristen Hoagland (2 years); Hannah Judge (1 year); Mandi Roggy (8 years.) Volunteers include Jess Hurley and Emily Roggy.
The Bi-County Bulldogs Basketball Skills Athletes compete on Saturday, March 8, starting at noon, at Normal Community High School. They compete in three skill areas: dribbling, passing, and shooting. Five athletes will compete: Marshall Armstrong, Katie Bidwell, Yadira Gomez, Lucy Kurtz, and Dakota Stotler. Pictured are Marshall and Yadira with Katie.


The All Star Twisterz will compete this weekend. This is their second year competing. It is also their second trip to State as a team. Their first game is Saturday at 10:15 a.m. Their second game is at 9:00 a.m., on Sunday, March 9.

Athletes and Coaches will attend Opening Ceremonies Friday, March 7, at 6:30 p.m., at Horton Field House, Illinois State University. We hope to have a team dinner and do some team bonding activities over the weekend.
