The de Immigrant Volunteer Millers will host an all-community read. The book to be discussed is Sipsworth by Simon Van Booy. Individuals and book clubs are invited to take part. The discussion will be on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., in the Windmill Cultural Center. The Center is located at 111 Tenth Avenue (across the street from Fulton’s windmill), at the corner of 10th Avenue and 1st Street in downtown Fulton, IL.

Prior to September 16, the public is encouraged to read or listen to Sipsworth. This book revolves around an elderly woman coming to terms with the next phase of her life and the small creature who changes everything. At the September 16 event, Volunteer Miller Heidi Koch will lead the discussion.
This event is possible through the generous assistance of the Clinton, IA, and Fulton public libraries.
Physical copies, e-books, and audiobooks of Sipsworth are available for loan at Fulton’s Schmaling Memorial Public and the Clinton Public Library. The event is free and open to the public. The facility is handicap accessible.
Refreshments will be served following the book discussion. If you have questions, please contact 563-249-6115.
