Adrienna T. Rombouts, 60, of Morrison, IL, died Saturday, February 21, 2026.

Adrienna was born March 20, 1965, in Princeton, IL, to Adrian and Julia (DeVoss) Rombouts.  She attended grade school in Manlius and was a graduate of Manlius High School.  She went on to earn her RN degree from Clinton Community College, beginning a nursing career that would span nearly four decades.  In 1983, she married Arnold Vegter in Morrison and had two children, Shaun and Ashley.  She later married Bryan K. Etter on March 30, 2019, in Sterling, IL.  Adri devoted 38 years to MercyOne Medical Center in Clinton, IA, retiring in October 2024.  Nursing was an important part of her life, and she enjoyed working alongside her coworkers and helping patients.  Above all, her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially attending the events and activities of her children and later her nieces, nephews, and grandson.

Survivors include her husband, Bryan Etter; daughter, Ashley (Tyler) Propst of Worthington, MN; on, Shaun Vegter of Austin, MN; stepdaughters, Melissa Etter of Eureka, CA, and Stephanie Etter of Dixon, IL; stepson-in-law, Charlie Brall of Rock Falls, IL; stepgrandson, Derek Brall; sisters, Regina Thompson of Sterling, Augusta (Gene) Furrow of Monmouth, IL, and Marie Rombouts of Sterling.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Friday, February 27, 2026, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.

Her Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday February 28, 2026, at First Presbyterian Church in Morrison, IL, with Rev. Dr. Michael Selburg officiating.

Cremation rites will be accorded following the funeral service.
