Save the date to attend The Whiteside Forum Annual Conference on Friday, April 15, 2016.  The panel discussion will be held in the City of Morrison Community Room of the Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL.  Registration starts at 7:00 p.m. with introduction of the speakers at 7:30.

Their topic of discussion is of worldwide concern and has been a key topic in the Democrat party debates.:  “Mind the Gap:  Income and Opportunity Inequality Around the World–Its Consequences and Solutions”

Two of the Forum panel members will be:

FrederickSoltFrederick Solt, Professor of Political Science at the University of Iowa.

His primary research interests are in Comparative Politics. 

He focused on the consequences of economic inequality for political attitudes and behavior.

 

JannettHighfilJannett Highfill, Professor of Economics at Bradley University.

Her primary interests are in Global Economics, but she is also devoted to Principles of Macroeconomics.

Highfil was the keynote speaker in April 2013 on the Global Economy.
