Peggy Karash, age 71 of Morrison, IL, died at home Thursday, October 15, 2015, following an extended illness.
Peggy was born on September 13, 194, in Sterling, IL, the daughter of Dean and Mildred (Wagenknecht) Pyse. She married Larry Karash on September 28, 1987, in Rock Island, IL. Peggy was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband Larry Karash of Morrison; one daughter, Lori Carbaugh of Morrison; three sons, Mark (Geraldine) Ellis of Sterling, Jeff Ellis of Rock Falls, IL, and Joseph and (Lynn) Boyd of Weirsdale, FL; six sisters, Joyce (Alan) Ernst of Stoutsville, MO, Joan (Jana) Pyse of Bradford, IL, Jeannie (Carl) Mattingly of Loretta, KY, Sue Chappell of Rock Falls, Debbie (Randy) Aronson of Harmon, IL, and Wendy (Craig) Stralow of Morrison; two brothers, Ted (Dot) Pyse of Rapids City, IL, and David Pyse of Kings Mountain, SC; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; one brother.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday October 19, 2015, at the McDonald Funeral Home in Fulton, IL.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home, with Pastor Dalmus Meeks of Harvest Time Bible Church, Rock Falls, IL, officiating.
Private family burial will be held at a later date.
