On Sunday July 26, 2015, Sterling, IL, will dedicate its newest mural, in the 600 block of E. Third Street. At the same time, Sterling-Rock Falls Historical Society will have an old-fashioned ice cream social at the Lincoln Learning Center-Manahan House site, right across the street at 611 E. Third.
The Social will be held from noon to 2:00 p.m. and feature homemade pies, ice cream, lemonade, iced tea, and other refreshments. Everyone is welcome.
