The Morrison, IL, community and friends gathered on Saturday, June 6, 2026, to celebrate the successful years that Morrison Fire Department has served the community and surrounding areas.
The morning started with a Car Show on the Whiteside County Fairgrounds. Lloyd DeShane was invited by MFD to organize the event, which would include 125 vehicles. He has produced local/area car shows for 30 years. DeShane stated, “[People] liked the layout at the fairgrounds. Entries parked on the grass, so the streets were open for walking.”
Entrants are from Morrison, IL, unless indicated.
Customized, fashionably-altered, and extremely well-maintained vehicles were on display, for visitors to appreciate the effort made by these area car lovers.
The vehicles were judged and awarded the following awards.
