Connie L. Wiebenga, 82, of Fulton, IL, died Sunday, December 14, 2025, at her home.

Connie was born March 25, 1943, in Fulton, to Jacob and Edna (Morgan) Houzenga.  She was educated in the rural Whiteside County grade schools and was a graduate of Fulton High School. On February 16, 1962, she married Raymond P. Wiebenga at Spring Valley Church in Fulton.  They shared their lives together for over 63 years. Connie was employed at the Clinton Garment Factory and Nielsen’s Clearing House in Clinton, IA.  She later worked at Harbor Crest Nursing Home in Fulton and at General Electric in Morrison, IL.  She was a member of First Christian Reformed Church in Fulton.  Connie loved the outdoors and could often be found working in her yard or tending to her flower gardens, something that brought her joy.

Survivors include her husband, Ray; sons, Jeff Wiebenga and Jamie Wiebenga both of Fulton; two grandchildren, Joshua and Sarah Wiebenga; brothers, Harlan Houzenga of Morrison and Gary (Bette) Houzenga of Springfield, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter in infancy, Beth Ann Wiebenga; sister, Roberta Jean Lane; brother in infancy, Ronald Houzenga.

There will be no Visitation or Funeral service.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

The Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Interment will be at Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, IL.

A memorial has been established to Unity Christian Schools.
