Margaret “Peg” Eissens, 81, of Morrison, IL, went home to be with her heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Morrison Community Hospital.

Peg was born April 20, 1944, in Thomson, IL, to Herbert Lawrence and Vada Marie (Brooks) St. Ores.  She attended grade school in Thomson and graduated from Thomson High School.  She completed Cosmetology School to pursue her enthusiasm for a career in hairstyling.  On March 10, 1962, Peg married James R. Eissens at Spring Valley Reformed Church.  She was a self-employed hairdresser for 50 years, serving her clients with dedication and care.  She was a member of Spring Valley Reformed Church and sang in the Cantata at Emmanuel Church in Morrison.  Above all, Peg’s faith and family were her greatest joys.  She was always the first to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  Her selflessness and willingness to assist others made her an invaluable friend and family member.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Eissens of Morrison; daughter, Janelle Kehl of Thomson, IL; son, Jeff (Deb) Eissens of Morrison; four grandchildren, Sarah (Daniel) Deter, Brad (Kim) Eissens, Cody Kehl, and Hannah (Evan) Ernst Kehl; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Arla Green of Delvin, WI; many nieces and nephews.

Peg was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Janice Rogers; brothers, Herbert (Jeannie) St. Ores, Jr. and George (Esther) St. Ores.

Visitation was held from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at the Morrison Chapel of Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Spring Valley Reformed Church, with Rev. Paul Wissink officiating.

Interment followed at Lower York Cemetery in Thomson, IL.

A memorial has been established.
