Join Illinois Extension on Thursday, September 11, 2025, for an enlightening day of guided tours of innovative farms in the region, followed by a delicious dinner made from locally-grown ingredients.  Register NOW at go.illinois.edu/FarmtoTable.

Individual tour and dinner spots are limited.  The cost is $50 per person, which includes participants’ choice of farm tours(s) and the dinner.  Participants may also choose to attend the dinner only.

Illinois farm tours will kick off at 9:00 a.m. and include:
•   Indian Hills Orchard, Fulton
•   Buffalo Creek Murray Grey cattle farm, Polo
•   JL Acres, LLC organic crops, Sterling
•   Koster Farms hydroponic produce grower, Sterling
•   Sauk Valley Community College Greenhouse, Dixon
•   Brummel Beef and Locker, Rock Falls.

Cap off the day of discovery with a mouthwatering, locally-sourced dinner at 5:00 p.m., hosted at the Whiteside Area Career Center (WACC.)  The meal will be prepared by the talented Culinary Arts Class, showcasing many local ingredients highlighted in the tours earlier in the day.  A tour of the WACC will take place before dinner.
