The City of Morrison, IL, Department of Fun will host a family-friendly “Glow Party” to celebrate the end of summer, on Saturday, September 6, 2025. This final Block Party will be confined to downtown Main Street, stretching west from Cherry Street (IL Route 78) to Base Street. The times are 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. Bring a chair to enjoy people watching and the music of Clinton, IA, deejay Smoke Rodriguez.
There will not be a Glow Parade.
Local restaurants will be open for supper and beverage choices, as well as a cotton candy vendor. Paula’s Food Truck will sell hamburgers, hot dogs, and brats; potato and pasta salads; cowboy baked beans, with bacon and onion. Cooler with sodas and water will be on sale. A $7 Kid’s Meal includes a fruit juice pouch, hot dog, and chips.
