Editor’s update: On Monday, August 11, the Editor received a message from Morrison Community Hospital Marketing Director Mick Welding. According to Mike Vegter, owner of Vegter Steel Fabrication in Morrison, after the highest beam was installed, it was decorated for a short time, with the wee tree. This was a symbolic gesture to top the occasion. It was removed after a short time. Thank you, to Mike and to Mick.
At Morrison Community Hospital’s new addition, atop a structural steel I-beam, the 2025 Christmas season was begun, as of Friday, August 8, 2025.
Neither lights nor ornamentation were visible as of Saturday, August 9. Stay tuned.
