Odell Public Library urges the public to combine a 1/4 mile walk in Kelly Park with a “Story Stroll” that will make you and your youngsters chuckle. Signs are posted beginning near the playground shelter; follow the walking trail clockwise. Pages from The Legend of Rock, Paper, Scissors have been enlarged for easy reading.
After completing the book, a final sign offers a second means of “getting kids out and moving,” stated Katie Rider, Youth Services staffer. The goal is to “play a full-body game of Rock, Paper, Scissors.”
The Story Stroll will remain at Kelly Park through the end of July 2025.
