The Episcopal Church of Saint Anne, 300 N. Jackson Street, in Morrison, IL, (on the corner of Knox and Cherry Streets,) will host an Independence Day Morning Prayer service with patriotic hymns, for early risers at 7:00 a.m., on Friday, July 4, 2025. All are welcome to join in celebrating the 249th birthday of our Nation.
Thomas Jefferson, the primary author of the Declaration of Independence, was a lifelong member of the Anglican/Episcopal Church.
On Sunday, July 27, we will celebrate the Feast of our Patron Saint Anne, mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary and grandmother or our Lord Jesus Christ, with Holy Eucharist at 9:00 a.m. Our guest celebrant will be the Reverend Father John Heschlē, our first Rector, followed by a festive brunch/lunch in the Undercroft after Mass.
Again, all are welcome to join us in celebrating this important Feast of our Parish and to meet and greet Fr. John.
