The Monday, June 16, 2025, meeting of the Morrison School Board was the last meeting for interim Superintendent Shannon Baumann, and the Board expressed their appreciation for his time and efforts. His closing comments offered very positive hopes for the District. He remarked that the District has many positive elements working, that will aid the School District in the years to come.
The actions that followed were all met with unanimous approval votes, creating a short session:
* approve the Fiscal Year ’26 budget as presented at the last month’s Board meeting.
* approve the District insurance renewal with Wright Specialty for the 2025-26 school year.
* approve the second reading of the Policy Manual and adopt it as policy.
* approve the School District Certified Resolution for the land acquisition for the Genesee Court Bridge Replacement Project.
* approve the hiring of Lynette Foree as the Northside PE Teacher for 2025-26 school year.
* approve the HS graduation date for the 2025-26 year to Sunday, May 17, 2026.
The Morrison School Board meets on the third Monday (6:30 p.m.) of each month and invites the public to attend.
