As local high school activities wind down for the year, Noah Stout, Freshman at Morrison High School, is focusing on a summer of competitive Wrestling, among the best wrestlers in the Nation. He has qualified to wrestle at the 2025 Junior Nationals being held in Fargo, ND, in July.
After the disappointment of failing to qualify for the Illinois State High School finals, he refocused his ambitions and worked hard to finish fourth at the Rochester, MN, matches. There, his fourth-place finish qualified him for entry into the Fargo competition, which brings athletes from all over the United States. Qualifying at Rochester boosted his confidence and mounted his ambitions to surpass his Rochester achievements. He had established a feat that no other local area wrestler before him had accomplished!
Noah owns a unique commitment to Wrestling excellence and is not bashful when he voices his appreciation for Morrison High School’s Wrestling Coach Tony Wright. “He guides me through the journey of Wrestling competition.” He also extends his appreciation of support toward his parents and a special mention of his grandpa’s confidence and support that is always present.
Being an accomplished athlete requires a special commitment and a list of sacrifices, that must be made, to allow the time and effort to establish healthy goals. Noah compliments his core of friends that remain loyal and enthusiastic about his success. They understand his goals and commitment that accompany him daily.
Noah noted that he “never stops loving Wrestling and can’t wait for the next season to begin, as this year winds down.”
The Fargo National Wrestling Championships are scheduled for July 10-July 19. Noah Stout will proudly represent Team Illinois as he takes his Wrestling skills to the mats against the best grapplers in the Nation.
