The United Way of Whiteside County invites community members to celebrate local impact and kick off this year’s fundraising campaign, at their annual Campaign Celebration and Luncheon. The event will be Thursday, September 5, 2024, at noon, at Woodlawn Arts Academy, 3807 Woodlawn Road, Sterling, IL. Working with 21 local nonprofit organizations, United Way provides outreach, resources, and services to 1-out-of-every-3 residents on Whiteside County.
“This luncheon is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the generosity and spirit of our community,” said Keri Olson, Executive Director. “We’re excited to share the impact of last year’s campaign and to inspire everyone to get involved in creating positive change.”

This gathering brings together individuals, businesses, and organizations dedicated to improving lives across Whiteside County. Attendees will enjoy a delicious lunch, while learning about United Way’s vital work in the community; celebrating volunteers that went above-and-beyond; hearing the exciting plans for the upcoming year.
