The Whiteside Forum will host guest speaker Andrew Stutzke, a Sterling, IL, native and the morning meteorologist for WQAD TV8. He will attend on Sunday afternoon, January 28, 2024, in the City of Morrison Community Room at Odell Public Library in Morrison, IL. Odell Public Library is located at 307 S. Madison Street, in Morrison, IL. This presentation begins at 2:00 p.m. and is open to everyone free of charge.

Stutzke will speak to the topic of “Meteorology, Storm Chasing, Storm Preparedness, Weather Patterns, Models and Climate.” He will also answer your questions about the weather, his life, training, and work.

He is a graduate of Sterling High School and Sauk Valley College. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology, at Northern Illinois University in 2016. Stutzke has worked at WQAD since 2018; earned his American Meteorological Society Certified Broadcast Meteorologist designation in 2021; is also a Certified Drone Pilot.
