The Morrison Mustangs will play the Crusaders from Ottawa Marquette High School in Ottawa, IL, on Saturday, October 28, 2022, with a 1:00 p.m. kickoff. Marquette High School is 92 miles from Morrison and located just blocks off of the Fox River.
The first round opponent has a 2022-2023 record of eight wins and one loss. It is worth noting that one of the wins is a Forfeit against Christ the King of Chicago, IL. The Crusaders are not associated with a conference. They play opponents throughout the Northern Illinois area as scheduling allows. They have played two similar opponents that were on the Morrison schedule and recorded wins, as did the Mustangs.
