Morrison United Methodist Church, 200 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL, invites you to a Sunday afternoon concert on October 23, 2022, beginning at 4:00 p.m. The 50-minute concert will feature “Songs of Praise” in various forms.
The concert will open with an organ/piano duet, “God of Grace, God of Glory” followed by a choir ensemble singing “Give Me a Song to Sing.” In the spirit of the month, pianist Pastor Sun-ah Kang will play “Graceful Ghost Rag.”
Other numbers include “When the Roll is Called Up Yonder,” a four-hand piano duet of “The Lord’s Prayer,” and a women’s trio singing, “Come Thou Almighty King “ and “Leave it There.”
The concert will end with “How Great Thou Art” and “Now Thank We All Our God.”
This concert will be a time of enjoyment and reflection. We hope you come and take in the joy of this music, both vocal and instrumental. A free-will offering will be taken.
