Morrison, IL, is home to Paula Rodriguez and Linda Temple, long-time friends who are dedicated to their Christian missionary travels, together or with students, in North America or across the Pacific Ocean. They have scheduled three fundraising events this fall, in September, October, and November.

Rodriguez wrote, “We are serving Street Tacos at Paint the Town, Saturday, September 17[, 2022]. These events are to raise money for the Crave kids. We are going to the Ark Encounter in Kentucky in June 2023.”

Beginning at 11:00 a.m., find their taco booth at N. Madison and E. Main Streets. No pre-orders will be taken.

“We will sell Tacos: $3 for one or $5 for two, having a choice of chicken, pork, or beef. There will be a variety of homemade salsas and topping for the tacos, too. Beverages are 20-ounce bottles of pop for $2 and bottled water for $1.”

On Saturday, October 1, Rodriguez and Temple will host a craft show, at the Crossroads Community Center, 201 W. Market Street.

They continue raising trip funds in November by selling tamales.
