On Saturday, August 27, 2022, the Whiteside County Fairgrounds, 201 W. Winfield Street, Morrison, IL, was the center of sunshine, memory sharing, and smiles, as Emmanuel Church sponsored their 9th Annual Car Show. With classic vehicles arriving from as far away as Mukwonago, WI, (111 miles) and aging as far back as 1929, those attending had plenty to inspect and admire.

The Lloyd DeShane family, Morrison, produced another pleasurable event with 110 entries. Part of the entry fees were donated to Focal Point Ministries, led by Roy Abbott of Fulton, IL. As usual, entrants were encouraged to bring non-perishables to donate to Morrison Area Food Pantry. Morrison Kiwanis Club sold food on the grounds.

At the day’s end the following awards were presented.
