Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office routinely holds a sweet fundraiser to support Illinois Special Olympics. Playing off the stereotyped belief that “all Cops love doughnuts,” this event is held on the roof at Dunkin’ Donuts, 1904 First Avenue, Rock Falls, IL. The upcoming event is Friday, August 19, 2022, from 5:00 a.m. to noon.
Sheriff John Booker and Deputies will participate in collecting donations as customers arrive. Some members of the Department will be atop the restaurant roof in order to attract donors.
Dunkin’ Donuts sells hot and iced coffee, espresso, breakfast sandwiches, and doughnuts.
