It was suggested that Morrison, IL, residents and business owners assist the Fire Department, by clearing snow away from fire hydrants in front of their homes/buildings.
It would be problematic if firemen had to shovel snow to locate hydrants, prior to putting out a blaze. Do your civic duty for 15 minutes. It could save lives and property in an emergency.
