09-30-13 at 12:00 noon Whiteside County Deputies responded to a single-car accident on Spring Valley Road just west of IL Route 78. Ariel Hamstra, 21 of Prophetstown, IL, was delivering mail, when she lost control and collided with a cement bridge. As a result, Hamstra was taken to MCH for treatment of injuries. Sherrif’s Deputies were assisted by Morrison Fire and EMS.
