The Morrison Fillies fell on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, to their rival at Newman Central Catholic (13-3) and to the Rockridge Lady Rockets on Thursday, May 13, (16-0.)
The Lady Comets needed only four innings to subdue the Fillies. The former team collected 15 hits, of which seven were for extra bases, while allowing Morrison only five singles and three runs.
On Thursday, the Lady Rockets only allowed the Fillies one hit. They saw nine Fillies retired by the strikeout in a run-shortened, four-inning contest, which ended in a 16-0 shutout.
